Storyteller Overland

Storyteller Overland reached out on short notice, needing lifestyle and product imagery for their newest campervan, The Crew Mode. With less than two weeks from initial contact to production, the timeline was tight.

The brief involved four separate shoots across diverse environments—beach, desert, and mountains to showcase the van’s versatility. We began on California’s coast and wrapped just three days later in Breckenridge, Colorado.

The production came with significant challenges: minimal crew, changing locations and climates, and limited available light. While I wasn’t overseeing creative direction or casting, I focused on maximizing what we had — directing talent on the fly and adapting quickly to each setting. My goal was to capture authentic, aspirational imagery that reflected the adventurous spirit of The Crew Mode.

Despite the constraints, we delivered a robust library of images highlighting the van’s design and lifestyle appeal, essential for marketing a vehicle with a price point nearing $350,000. The client walked away with versatile assets ready for use across multiple platforms, helping position The Crew Mode as a premium, go-anywhere adventure vehicle.
