I’m Jakob Wandel

I am filmmaker, photographer, and the creative lead behind The CRAFT Method.

Before I ever picked up a camera, I spent four years in the Navy as a mechanic. That time taught me discipline, leadership, and how to work with precision — all of which still show up in how I lead creative projects today.

I spent years touring with musicians, capturing energy and emotion in the moment. But everything shifted for me on a project in Portugal, documenting the process behind a brand’s products. Seeing how many hands touched each item changed the way I thought about storytelling — and made me want to tell those stories more intentionally.

I partner with founders, creative teams, and agencies who care deeply about what they make — and why they make it. I’m not just here to deliver polished visuals. I’m here to help you tell the kind of story that makes people feel something.
