Jakob Wandel is a director and photographer based between Nashville and Los Angeles, working at the intersection of lifestyle, design, and story. He creates brand campaigns, commercials, and documentaries that feel elevated, intentional, and visually distinct.

His approach is shaped by a deep appreciation for thoughtful design and well-made things, drawing inspiration from interiors, product design, and the intentionality of everyday objects. Jakob is also the creator of CRAFT, a docu-series exploring the how and why behind makers and their work. Blending commercial clarity with a documentary sensibility, he delivers campaigns that balance authenticity with a refined visual language.

While he splits his time between Nashville and Los Angeles, Jakob is often traveling for both client and personal work. His curiosity for new places and experiences informs much of his perspective, whether hiking and road-tripping with his partner Julia, documenting daily life, or exploring design, books, and coffee rituals. At home, he values routine and structure, but he is always chasing the next adventure—one that keeps his work rooted in both curiosity and intention.
