Wandel Creative is a production studio founded by director Jakob Wandel. Jakob came to filmmaking through documentary work, after four years in the Navy and years touring the country with musicians. That’s why our films feel unscripted even when they’re carefully planned.
Every project has one director accountable from the first call to the final file, backed by a trusted team we bring in for each job: two people for a documentary, twenty for a commercial.

We’re based in Nashville and Los Angeles and travel for projects across the US and abroad.

Every project is quoted to fit what you need and what the production calls for: the number of shoot days, locations, crew, post-production and usage. After our first call, you’ll get a clear, fixed quote with every deliverable spelled out.

Yes. Wandel Creative produces directly for brands, and Jakob directs and shoots for agencies and production companies.

No. You’re always welcome on set, but plenty of clients sign off on the treatment and shot plan ahead of time and review cuts in post. We can also set up live remote viewing so your team can weigh in from anywhere.
