Copenhagen
I spent 9 days wandeing around Copenhagen with a few cameras; here’s what we saw.
PHOTOGRAPHER
Each year I carve out time for one or two trips like this; space away from the usual routine. I let my curiosity lead me and I try to set as little expectations as possible.
In Copenhagen that meant pastries every morning, daily rides on a bike, 27k steps/day, memorable coffee (Prolog was a favorite), and documenting the things that excited me and/or caught my eye.
It is my belief that, as a creative, it is my duty to take on personal assignments like this. This is where personal taste develops and grows. I am doing the thing I love, for no one else but myself.
These trips give me space to refine my skills. The work I make and the lessons I take from them always find their way back into my client projects.
My goal for this series was to capture what it felt like to exist in Copenhagen during the summer.
Looking back through these images, I’m transported right back into that experience. There’s a realness here that I often find missing in ‘travel’ photography.
